Foods to Avoid

Eggs feed strep and should be avoided while you heal. Some people are wrongfully told to consume eggs when healing from SIBO, but this is damaging misinformation. Unfortunately, eggs will continue to feed the bacteria in your body. Someone suffering from cystitis might not feel any irritation when consuming eggs, but they are still feeding the problem and creating further problems for their health. From PCOS, to breast cancer, calcifications, nodules, tumors on the thyroid, and more, eggs can exacerbate many issues, and it is best to avoid them. You can read more about eggs in my book Life-Changing Foods.

Like eggs, dairy products feed strep as well. Avoid milk, cheese, butter, or ghee if you are battling any strain of strep. Try to stay away from corn, wheat, barley, rye, and canola oil. Do not be concerned about barley grass juice, this is different to the barley grain and doesn't contain gluten. It's an anti-strep food and exceptional to include for your health. When the grass is juiced, the change in structure contains a phytochemical that wards off strep.

Healing Foods

As you begin to clean out the strep in your system, building up the immune system is a critical piece. Your SIBO, cystitis and all the other symptoms related to strep can permanently go away, but this healing can only begin once you add in the correct foods and supplements. When you’re fighting strep, adopting a plant-based diet for a period of time can be very beneficial. You might want to consider trying the 28-day cleanse laid out in my first book, Medical Medium.

The antibacterial and antiviral properties found in bananas are incredible for collecting strep and pulling it out of the system. Bananas are especially good for someone with SIBO. Berries are great for defeating strep anywhere in the body system. Spinach is a wonderful addition to one’s diet. Onion helps fight strep in the intestinal tract, colon, and can also help in healing styes.

Celery juice is another powerful drink that instantly starts eradicating strep. Raw honey contains phytochemicals that destroy all the different strep bacterias. Ginger, garlic, winter squash AND sweet potatoes,  Including fresh oregano and other herbs like thyme, rosemary, and sage is very healing as well.

Healing Supplements

A sizable dose of vitamin C is a powerful weapon against streptococcus. Zinc sulfate is a critical strep-fighting supplement. One reason strep has become so rampant is because most people suffer from a zinc deficiency, and it is therefore critical to replenish your body with this vital mineral.

Oregano oil capsules are great for fighting strep, especially SIBO. Cat’s claw, lemon balm, goldenseal, and monolaurin from coconut are four other very helpful supplements.

Moving Forward

If doctors tell patients cystic acne is just hormonal pimples, then people will remain sick and grossly misinformed. If people continue to believe the faulty idea that sinus infections are attributable to pollen in the air, people will remain unwell. If people just assume vaginal discharge is yeast, and are not correctly informed that it’s a strain of strep, people will continue to suffer. Together we must clear up the misinformation and spread the truths that will bring genuine healing.

Healing foods and supplements can overcome even the most powerful strains of strep in today’s world and with time, patience, and determination, you can defeat strep and experience the freedom of vibrant health. Be gentle with yourself, seek support, reach out to angels for help, and watch as your life begins to transform!

 GERMAN CHAMOMILE (MATRICARIA RECUTITA)
Chamomile has around 9 different Candida fighting chemicals in it, making it powerful against yeast infections.  In addition to stopping Candida, chamomile can be used to treat certain bacterial and viral infections.  This herb is certainly one to have on hand for a variety of medicinal uses.

In the past, chamomile had been used to treat stomach cramps, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion, diarrhea, gas, and colic (8). Chamomile can be used in tea to treat lumbago, rheumatic problems, and rashes (3)  well as a vapor to alleviate cold symptoms or asthma (3).

There are different chamomile, so make sure you’re using Matricaria chamomilla ( annual or german chamomile, wild chamomile).

Chamomile for Yeast Infection

Chamomile is a great choice for an herbal yeast infection remedy.  This plant has several antifungal compounds present in it that deliver a powerful blow to Candida (Candida is the yeast that causes yeast infections).

Using chamomile medicinally is not a new idea; this herb has been used by physicians for thousands of years.  The ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks all used chamomile to treat a wide variety of health maladies.

You can also use this helpful herb quickly and easily to get rid of a yeast infection fast!  State that chamomile has a wide variety of medicinal uses.  Apparently, a number of the chemical constituents of this herb are excellent at stopping various bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

An ethanolic extract of German chamomile inhibited the growth of Herpes and Polio Virus (Suganda et al.,1983).

  Chamomille  for H.pylori

Chamomile has a soothing effect on inflamed and irritated mucous membranes. It is also high in the flavonoid apigenin, which has inhibited growth of H. pylori in test tubes.

Many doctors recommend drinking two to three cups of strong chamomile tea each day. The tea can be made by steeping 2 to 3 tsp of chamomile flowers in the water, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Chamomile
This is definitely the most pleasant option for treating all type of fungal infections. Chamomile is known to be especially good at ridding the body of candida overgrowth.

Simply drinking a strong cup of chamomile tea 2-3 times per day AND applying the used tea bags externally to the infection will work wonders!

Compounds in the essential oil of chamomile were effective against Staphylococcus and Candida.  Chamomile's essential oil components, α-bisabolol had the strongest activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  Chamazulene also had strong antimicrobial activity.

Of the phytochemicals present in Chamomile, many are efficacious antifungal compounds.  These chemicals give chamomile its potent ability to kill off a yeast infection.  The chemicals include:
  • Alpha-Bisabolol
  • Beta-Sitosterol
  • Borneol
  • Caprylic acid
  • Geraniol
  • Herniarin
  • Perillyl alcohol
  • Quercetin
  • Umbelliferone

  Chamomille  for Candida

There are many names for chamomile and it is important you get the right kind to use.  The correct species of chamomile to use for yeast infections is Matricaria chamomilla--also known as Matricaria recutita.
Another species of chamomile, Chamaemelum nobile, is also known as chamomile.  This species is probably not as good as Matricaria recutita for treating a yeast infection.  There may be more carbohydrates in Chamaemelum nobile; making it less desirable for use against Candida yeast.

How to Use Chamomile for Yeast Infections

A great way to use chamomile for yeast infections is to make a tea with the dried herb.  Simply take a few scoops of dried chamomile and boil it in a few cups of water.  Strain the herb out if you didn’t use a tea bag, and you’ve made chamomile tea!

Chamomile in all the different solvents inhibited all the bacteria and fungus it was tested on.  The study found that just a few micrograms of each chamomile extract successfully inhibited Candida albicans.
Consequently, using this herbal remedy is proven to be a good choice.

    Chamomile Side Effects

If you have had a history of allergic reactions to ragweed or other plant in this family, you may also have an allergic response to chamomile as well.  This is the most probable side effect that can occur when taking chamomile.
